Local Bakery

Todono stands behind the counter serving the customers. The bakery is rather large, it has a couch against the western wall with a wooden coffee table in front of it, another couch in front of that so those two couches face each other, there is also a nice recliner chair that faces the coffee table, this is set up close to the front door, there are also lots of tables, some seat three, some seat four, and some seat two people. At the bakery counter there is 6 stools to sit down on. The cash register is off to the side for standing room where people order their baked goods. The bakery also serves a wide arrange of drinks and sandwiches.

*Todono stops his busy routine looking tired and smiles* I sure could, when can you start?

My names Todono, nice to meet you Yuri *Todono comes out from behind the counter* I gotta go make some errand runs, take over for a while, the cash register is pretty simple *Todono is gone outside the door as 5 customers are lined up wanting cookies coffee donuts iced caps and other baked goods

Aki from the police force, the only member of the police force walks in just as the entertainment begins and he listens to Yuri sing the first song and sits down at a table, a memory of someone comes to his mind and he sheds a few tears, then the second song comes and he listens to it as well and sheds more tears

Yuri:*walks up to aki singing this*

*Aki smiles as he listens to Yuri sing this song and he thinks to himself - She is such an amazing singer*

Yuri:*goes and gets to ppls orders singing and gives aki a cup of coffee*

Thank you Yuri, can I also have a fresh cookie? *Aki smiles politely* Your quite the amazing singer

Yuri:*gets him a fresh baked cookie*thank you aki-san

*Aki smiles* Just Aki please. You must be new here, usually Todono is here. *Aki gives a sly smile* I should come here more often

Yuri:*giggles*hehe anything eles aki

*Aki dunks his cookie* This will be fine Yuri, thanks *Aki bites his cookie and puts down some money on the table, then swallows his cookie before talking* Here, a tip for such great service and entertainment *Aki smiles politely*

Yuri:oh no i couldnt r u sure

*Aki finishes his cookie and swallows it* I am very sure, Todono never puts on anything entertaining like you did. *Akie drinks more of his coffee and grabs the money forcing it into your hand and gets up from the table finishing off his coffee* Thank you for the lovely service, but I must be going now. I will definitely pop in more often *Aki grins and leaves*

Yuri:*smiles as he leaves and walks behind the counter taking more orders and serving*

A little neko thief named Ren sneaks into the back of the bakery while Yuri is up front and steals a dozen cookies and takes off out back

Yuri:*goes into the back*OH NO!THE COOKIES R GONE TODONO IS GONNA KILL ME!

*Aki comes walking in with Todono and some little neko, and Aki pushes her right up to the counter and waits for Yuri, the little neko has a box of cookies*

Yuri:*walks up*the cookies!?

*Ren looks up at Yuri* Sorry for stealing the cookies mam. *Aki looks at Yuri and Todono* This little neko is quite known for stealing, would you like her put in jail for a while, or help you two out around here. *Todono looks at Yuri* You were on shift at the time, so you decide

Yuri:*pays for the cookies myself amd gives then to her*just dont do it next time okay *smiles at her*

*Aki speaks* Thats very kind of you Yuri. *Ren smiles* Thank you mam *Todono speaks* This isnt the first time she stole from me either, she needs someone to look after her and I am no good with children *Aki speaks again* I got extra room, but I am pretty busy with the police force and dont have enough time to look after her myself *Ren looks at both Aki and Todono and Todono speaks to Yuri* I know this is asking a lot of you, but would you be able to take care of this little thief?

Yuri:*pick up ren and puts her on my shoulders*of corse*dances around with ren on my shoulders*

*Aki smiles* They make a good pair *Todono* I agree, they both can work here. It will definitely bring more customers in, and I can actually do some paperwork for a change *Aki* Well, I gotta go, thanks Yuri *Todono goes into the back and does paperwork, Aki gives Yuri a card* Here, if you ever need me for any reason, just call* Aki smiles and leaves*

Yuri:*smiles*bye aki oh wait!*runs after aki*here*hands ua slip of paper with my address on it*here take this if ya ever wanna come over you'll know where it is ^^
Ren:see ya mister*runs into the back and aologizes for all those times forstealing stuff*

*Aki smiles and takes the paper* I will definitely stop by some time Yuri. And thanks, for looking after Ren, she needs a good home. Shes been on her own for so long, thanks again, your one of the best people I know *Aki smiles more and kisses Yuris cheek gently* Thats for being such a good person *Aki walks away looking at the address and smiles more*

Yuri:*smiles blushing runs in the back and gets ren and pick her up spining happy*
Ren:weeeee!!!y r u so happy?

*Todono looks out his office at the two of you curiously, then shakes his head going back to finish off the paperwork*

Todono comes out of the back and watches Yuri, then gets an idea and goes to the phone in the back and calls up someone. He then comes out of the back and waits for Yuri to finish before he talks to her

Yuri:*finishes and walksover to todono*

Very impressive, how would you like to be a regular singer here as well, two dollar raise and your very own stage right there *He points to where you were singing and smiles*

Yuri:!I'd love that! thank you todono-san*hugs you*

*Todono laughs* You my dear are going to be the main attraction around here. *The customers overhear this and they all stand up to applaud you*

Yuri:*giggles and bows*

*Todono smiles* While you sing, ren can wait tables. About your wage, I am going to give you 16.50 an hour, ren will be paid 11.75 an hour *Todono goes into the back again to make up flyers then hollers for Ren

*Todono smiles* I am serious, business here is great, but with you it will improve a lot. *Todono now speaks to Ren* How well can you sing?

Ren:i cant but i can do this *plays a gutair solo*

*Todono grins* Perfect *Todono goes to the back for a few minutes then comes back out with flyers and hands them to Ren* Take these flyers and run around town. Hand them to people and hang some up around popular hang outs like the malls and that. *Todono smiles at Ren*

Ren:*runs off with the flyers*
Yuri:Be careful ren!

She'll be fine. Now, we need to set up times for when you are singing with ren, singing alone, when ren plays alone, and when you two can coordinate each other to do tables. I can run the counter while you two play, you can wait tables while ren plays, ren waits tables while you play, and i will try to run the counter most of the time as you two coordinate each others tasks *Todono smiles*

*Todono smiles more* I gotta go finish the paperwork then I am heading out for a few more errands, run the shop ok? When Ren gets back tell her to run counter *Todono heads for the back*
