This is called Shadow shuriken, you get one of your clones to throw the shuriken as you perform the proper handsigns, the shadow from the shuriken can be controlled by you, I will demonstrate
I hand the shuriken I have to a clone, I flicker up into a tree, as the clone throws the shuriken I perform the handsigns, the shuriken flies straight for a tree, the shadow of the shuriken changes direction to the left as you see it come off the ground and flies into a different tree than the metal shuriken, the shadow disappears as it hits the tree, a few seconds later the tree falls over backwards, a clean cut is made where the shadow shuriken hit, I flicker beside you

I watch as you make the shadow go right, but I never see it come off the ground,I see it come back this way on the ground still and hits the feet of several clones before the shadow disappears((This jutsu only lasts 6 posts before the shadow disappears on its own))
Not bad, you gotta work on taking it off the ground, otherwise opponents will jump over it
