Gennin are low ranked shinobi, they can only know up to 6 jutsus, this includes bloodline jutsus such as clans that use byakugan or other bloodline jutsus.

Chuunin can learn up to two additional jutsus. There are three classes of Chuunin, First class Chuunin are considered to be the best at this rank, Second class Chuunin are known as special chuunin and not as skilled as a first class chuunin, Third class chuunin are considered to be average chuunin

Jounin are high ranked ninja, they can learn three additional jutsus. S-Class jounin are considered to be as powerful as a sannin, First class jounin are somewhat weaker than S-class jounin and many of them are considered to be a Sensei, Second class Jounin make great teachers, very few second class shinobi might stand a chance against and s-class shinobi. Third class jounin are considered to be special jounin, they usually specialize in one specific area

A clan can only have up to 11 jutsus, and no more than 3 different branches(Branches depends on the clan)

Summoning jutsus are part of certain clans, summoning jutsus are not part of the limit so those clans will have 12
